Our mission is to create a unified platform for the revitalization of Indigenous communities, as well as raise public awareness about traditional Ways of Being and teachings of Sacred Reciprocity for everyone living on Turtle Island.
The Buffalo Wolf Bridge is intended to be a network of alliances between existing non-profits, private donors, and sponsors- Indigenous and not- joining together to connect and develop initiatives, align on specific goals, and leverage available resources to complete small-scale but impactful projects.
Current proposals spotlight issues such as:
>> building safe houses for women and children in abusive environments >> an elderberry farm initiative for the revitalization of traditional diets >> advocating for and funding land buy backs >> installing sustainable technologies in remote areas to improve daily life >> social media initiative to reconnect the youth to their heritage with a sense of freedom and belief in one's worth >>
Together we can make a difference, and the time is now. With each project completed, we can continue to share traditional 'knowings', advance Indigenous human rights, protect natural resources, and breathe fresh life into the endurance and success of our First Nation Brothers and Sisters. We can ALL benefit and learn to THRIVE by connecting with these precious communities and honoring one another with a sense of belonging and trust. It is our belief that these relationships, these connections and bridges, are crucial for the sustainability and balance of our planet and one another.
